| This is kind of a dumb question but I want to make sure before I paint. I have some paint chips and scratches. A few of them however look to be down to the metal or primer. One scratch has about an inch long portion that is dark dark brown or even black. At first I thought it was rust but now I don't think so. Is that the color of the primer or the metal maybe? I also have a few chips that hit so hard that the metal dented a bit. They are metal/gray colored. Is that just bare metal or could that also be the color of the primer? I searched and didn't find a post about this - anyone know?
